Water and Energy Efficiency: Energy Performance Contracting A Project for the Czech Republic
WorldDenver recently hosted 4 visitors from the Czech Republic along with their 2 interpreters. The program, which began May 2nd, aimed to inform the delegates about Colorado’s current efforts in promoting water and energy efficiency. The Czech delegation truly enjoyed visiting Hach Homeland Security Technologies and enjoyed learning of the water securities that Hach Homeland Security Technologies provides. The Czech delegates also took a tour of Xcel’s Ponnequin wind farm facilities and were provided with information about operations there. Finally, the delegates attended a meeting at the Governor's Energy Office about their programs and how the state’s promotion of energy performance contracting as means to finance public and private energy efficiency projects. The program also included with a LEED-specific tour of the Capitol. The delegation departed on May 5th.
